Angry Birds is a strategy puzzle video game developed by Finnish computer game developer Rovio Entertainment. Inspired primarily by a sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first released for Apple's iOS.
In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playing field. As players advance through the game, new types of birds become available, some with special abilities that can be activated by the player. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has also released stand-alone holiday and promotional versions of the game.

Waking Mars is an adventure game for iOS, produced by Tiger Style in which players jetpack through subterranean Mars and encounter a host of extraordinary alien lifeforms that operate as a living, breathing ecosystem. Players must master the behaviors of these creatures to create ecosystems of their own design to survive and discover the secrets of Mars’ past. The game has been nominated for Best Mobile Game and Excellence in Audio in 2012 Independent Game Festival. Waking Mars was also named the Best Game of 2012 (So Far) by Paste Magazine.

3. Temple Run
Temple Run is an endless action video game developed by the Raleigh-based Imangi Studios. The player takes the role of an explorer attempting to steal an idol from a temple and being chased by "demonic monkeys". The game is available on iOS and Android systems.
Temple Run centers around a group of wandering explorers, where one of the characters, whom the player controls, steals an idol from an ancient temple. The players control the characters moments after they have stolen the idol. Immediately upon acquiring the idol, the player is pursued by a group of malevolant demonic monkeys who chase the player out of the temple, thus initiating a "temple run." The player must swipe up or down in order to avoid obstacles, and left or right in order to turn corners. Tilting the device will cause the character to move from side to side, allowing them to collect coins as they run.

4. Rings of Chaos
Chaos Rings is a role-playing video game developed by Media.Vision and published by Square Enix. It was released worldwide on April 20, 2010 as an exclusive title for iOS, but it was later ported to the Android platform in Japan. Produced by Takehiro Ando, characters were designed by Yusuke Naora, the art director of Final Fantasy VII, VIII, and X among other successful titles.
The game takes place in a mysterious place known as Ark Arena, where participants face enemies in both dungeons and tournament-play to avoid death and gain immortality. Chaos Rings features four scenarios. Each scenario is played by two different story characters and across several worlds, ending with a boss battle. A prequel, Chaos Rings Omega, was released on May 19, 2011, and a sequel, Chaos Rings II, was released on March 15, 2012.

A separate iPad version was released on March 11, 2011.
